Problem:

This seems to be related to multi-monitor setups and in some cases, remote access. 

The symptoms are when a section of IQMS is clicked that would create a new, separate window, nothing appears and the IQMS main toolbar can't be accessed, and must be force closed to use IQMS again. 

Solution:

The solution is to force the newly created IQMS window to appear on the current desktop by pressing (simultaneously) ALT-SPACEBAR-X immediately after clicking the item that should have created a new window.  If you have clicked elsewhere after that step, close IQMS via the Task Manager, re-open it, and replicate the issue by clicking the section that creates the window, and then press ALT-SPACEBAR-X right away.  The missing window will appear in the center of your current desktop, and won't be missing next time.
